01
About Hanbury
Hanbury Health brings physiotherapy, movement, recovery and health testing together under one coordinated approach, an integrated approach to health, designed around long-term results, not short-term fixes. Rather than treating each issue in isolation, the same team works from shared information, so your care joins up.
Most places treat one thing at a time. We measure what's actually going on, work on it with a structured plan, and track whether it's changing, the same method whether you're recovering from an injury, training for something, or wanting to understand your health properly. It's built around leaving you more capable, not more reliant on us.
You can book directly, no referral needed. If you've been referred by a consultant, that works too; see our Getting Started page. And the relationship runs both ways: if our experts feel you'd be better seen by a consultant, they'll say so and help you get there.
That's completely fine. Contact us with a little about what's going on and we'll point you to the right starting point.

Booking, payment & membership
Physiotherapy, the Performance Blueprint and the Healthspan Programme are booked through our Cliniko booking pages; Reformer Pilates, Mat Pilates, Yoga and Recovery are booked through Momence. Booking buttons across the site open the right one for you.
Classes and recovery run on a simple credit system. You can pay as you go, buy a credit pack, or join a membership, the more committed the option, the lower the per-credit rate (pay-as-you-go £13 per credit, credit pack £10, membership £9). Memberships start from a small monthly bundle of credits and scale up. See the full membership and pricing page for every plan and rate.
You can pay as you go, membership just lowers the per-credit rate if you come regularly. There's no obligation to join. See membership & pricing for rates.
Yes, we offer gift vouchers. Contact us and we'll sort one out.
03
Physiotherapy
Back and neck pain, shoulder, knee, hip, ankle and foot problems, tendon issues, arthritis and joint pain, sports injuries, post-surgical and post-fracture rehabilitation, headaches, and more, plus dedicated adolescent physiotherapy and strength and conditioning. See the Physiotherapy page for the full list.
Self-pay is £110 for an initial 60-minute assessment and £70 for a follow-up.
Yes, many clients use private health insurance, including Bupa, AXA Health and Aviva. Our Getting Started page explains how the referral and insurance process works.
Wear or bring comfortable clothing you can move in, so the area we're assessing can be seen and tested, for example shorts for a knee or hip, a vest for a shoulder. If you have relevant scans or reports, bring them, and your insurance details if you're using cover.
Your expert assesses what's going on, often measures it objectively rather than relying on hands-on assessment alone, and talks through a plan with you, so decisions are made on evidence, not guesswork.
04
Reformer Pilates, Mat Pilates & Yoga
New Reformer clients begin with an intro session before joining regular classes, so you're set up properly and moving well from the start.
Reformer Pilates: 3 classes for £33. Mat Pilates: 3 classes for £21. Recovery: 3 services for £75. See membership & pricing for the full credit system and every plan.
No. Classes are taught with real attention to how you move, and meet you where you are , most people who move well here are working with an old injury that keeps reappearing, an area that no longer tolerates what it used to, or the quieter shifts of a demanding stretch of life. You don't need to arrive fit or experienced.
Comfortable clothing you can move in, and grip socks for Reformer and Mat Pilates. Bring water. Everything else is provided.
Yes, that's exactly who many of our clients are. Because the class team works alongside our physiotherapy and wider team, movement can be adjusted to you and joined up with any other care you're having, rather than treated as a separate thing.
Our classes are built on the expertise of Yogomotiv, an award-winning Pilates, Yoga and Wellness studio established in 2016, now part of Hanbury Health. Its clients are now Hanbury clients; this is genuine continuity, not a partnership.
05
Recovery
One guided visit through three systems, cryotherapy, compression boots and the Shiftwave chair, for an intro price of £75. It's part of a wider recovery suite bringing seven recovery systems together in one place.
A towel and swimwear are required.
Some conditions need care, for example certain cardiovascular conditions, Raynaud's, or acute injuries. You'll complete a short health-screening form first, and your expert will advise what's appropriate for you.
It depends on your training load and goals, many people return weekly or twice weekly. Your expert will advise after your first visit.
No, recovery is open to anyone, whether you train with us or not. It's used by serious trainers, people in structured rehabilitation, and people simply carrying a heavy physical or mental load.
06
The Healthspan Programme
It's a structured health assessment that builds the most complete picture of how your body is actually working, for people who want to understand their health properly rather than wait for something to go wrong. See the Healthspan Programme page for full detail.
Across its tiers it brings together blood biomarkers (including a biological age), body composition and metabolism, functional strength, and cognition, read together by a consultant as one picture, not four separate reports.
Yes, the assessment includes fasted bloods, so you'll be asked to fast beforehand. Full preparation details are confirmed when you book.
You get a verbal steer from your consultant before you leave, with the full written report following within 7 days, so you're never left waiting weeks to hear anything.
Yes, the Couples Longevity Morning runs the same assessment for two in one shared morning. Ask us for detail.
07
The Performance Blueprint
It measures rather than estimates, body composition, metabolism, and, at the top level, strength, power and movement quality, and an expert reads the results with you, rather than an app printing numbers. It also connects to the rest of your care if something's found.
No. The entry level suits anyone curious about their numbers; the top level suits someone training seriously for a specific goal.
Wear kit you can move and be tested in, and arrive hydrated. For a full Level 3 assessment, avoid heavy training in the 72 hours beforehand, since strength testing needs you recovered.
Three levels: £197, £495 and £895, each measuring more than the last. See the Performance Blueprint page for what's included at each.
Yes, that's the point. Anything found flows straight into Hanbury's physiotherapy, movement and recovery pathways, rather than being handed over as a standalone report.
