Verified patient reviews from Google

First time with Louise, who I saw with a shoulder injury. She made me feel at ease and went into a lot of detail and certainly put across she knew what she was talking about. She spent the time listening to me without me feeling like I was being rushed. Excellent result and no hesitation in recommending her.

Treatments

Advanced tools within physiotherapy

Alongside hands-on treatment and structured rehab, we use a small number of advanced tools where they meaningfully change the result.

Electrodes applied to a patient's calf, connected to a NEUBIE neuromuscular stimulation unit.

NEUBIE · Neuromuscular training

Rehab that works with your nervous system

The NEUBIE is an FDA-cleared direct-current neuromuscular device we use within physiotherapy, during active movement, not passively. Especially useful for post-surgical muscle re-activation and stubborn injuries.

Shockwave · Tendon pain

A rehab booster for stubborn tendons

Radial and focused shockwave therapy for long-standing tendon problems, plantar fasciitis, Achilles, tennis elbow, gluteal and patellar tendinopathy. Delivered as an adjunct to a proper loading and strengthening programme, not a shortcut.

VALD · Objective testing

Measure recovery with data, not guesswork

The full VALD suite, ForceDecks, ForceFrame, DynaMo and HumanTrak 3D, for objective strength, power, symmetry and movement testing. The heart of how we track progress and make safe, criteria-based return-to-sport decisions.

Blood flow restriction cuffs fitted to both thighs during rehabilitation.

BFR · Blood flow restriction

Keep muscles working when full load isn't possible yet

Rebuild muscle when you can't lift heavy, after surgery, with a painful joint, or early in rehab.

How we work

We test. We track. We treat.

Most physiotherapy relies on hands-on assessment alone. We combine testing, structured loading, and treatment so every decision is made on evidence rather than guesswork.

Test

Objective measurement before we start.

VALD ForceDecks and ForceFrame force-plate testing reveal strength, asymmetry, and movement quality in numbers. HumanTrak 3D movement analysis captures how you actually move. Diagnostic ultrasound gives a direct look at soft tissue and joint structures. We start with what the data shows, not just what the hands feel.

Track

Structured loading and clear progress.

We rebuild strength in our on-site rehabilitation gym, using Blood Flow Restriction training to keep muscles working when full load is not yet possible, and structured strength & conditioning coaching to pace your recovery and track improvement over time.

Treat

Targeted hands-on and technology-led care.

Radial and focused Shockwave therapy for stubborn tendon problems. Neubie neuromuscular stimulation to re-educate muscles after injury or surgery. Hands-on manual therapy to settle symptoms and restore movement. Each treatment is matched to what the testing has shown.

This is the Hanbury Method, Test, Train, Track, Transform, applied specifically to physiotherapy.

Pro sport experience

Built in professional sport, delivered for everyone.

Our clinicians have worked with professional rugby, cricket, golf, and elite motorsport teams. That experience shapes how we assess, treat, and coach, but it does not gate who we help.

Athletes

From academy players to seasoned professionals, we bridge the gap between injury recovery and performance readiness.

Adolescents

Growing bodies need careful load management. We guide young athletes through injury, growth-related pain, and long-term athletic development.

Everyday patients

The same evidence-based approach, scaled to your goals, whether that is returning to sport, work, or simply moving without worry.

Insurance & referral

Covered by insurance. Simple if you are referred.

We are recognised by major insurers and work with consultant referrals every day. If you have a referral letter, policy details, or simply are not sure what comes next, our walkthrough explains the process in plain English.

We work closely with orthopaedic surgeons across Milton Keynes. When a consultant refers a patient, we keep the pathway coordinated, from referral through treatment and recovery, so the same team follows the case, rather than handing it between disconnected providers.

The relationship runs both ways. If our assessment suggests a consultant is the better next step, we refer promptly rather than continuing treatment that is not the right fit. That is the "capability, not dependency" principle in practice, the goal is the right care at the right time.

What to expect

From first assessment to progress check.

A straightforward three-step process. Each stage is designed to give you clarity, momentum, and confidence that you are heading in the right direction.

  1. 01

    First assessment

We take a full history, assess how you move, and identify the underlying cause, not just the symptom. You leave with a clear picture of what is happening and why.

  2. 02

    Your treatment plan

A structured plan built around hands-on treatment, targeted exercise, and the right technology, paced to your body, your schedule, and your goals.

  3. 03

    Progress check

We re-test, refine, and keep you moving forward. Regular check-ins make sure the plan is working and adjust before small issues become setbacks.

For athletes & adolescents

Performance and growth need a different kind of physiotherapy.

Whether you are managing a young athlete's load or returning to competition yourself, we tailor the plan to the person, the sport, and the stage they are at.
